Tom is a Software Engineer with experience in quality assurance and automation.  Tom has been fascinated by computers, electronics and gadgets since he was 5 and decided to "fix" the VCR.  Since then Tom has learnt a lot and stays up-to-date with all the latest advancements in technology.  Tom also likes to learn and more importantly teach others how to become more tech savvy and use technology to enhance their lives.

Tom offers private tuition for all experience levels.  If a client has never used a computer before then Tom can provide a series of simple to follow tuition sessions covering the basics such as emailing, browsing, installing and maintaining your computer. And for those with a little more experience Tom can provide more detailed tuition covering many topics such as Virtualization, Performance tweaking, Security procedures to protect your data and backup best practice.

 

Tom can also provide tuition sessions based around some of the most current technologies such as Vagrant, Docker and Packer.
